Unlike traditional scheduling or first-come, first-served systems, triage allows us to allocate resources efficiently and focus on cases requiring urgent attention. While this may mean longer wait times for less critical issues, it ensures that every pet gets the care they need when they need it most.

Emergencies (Immediate Attention Required): Please go to your nearest Pet Emergency Hospital immediately!
- Birthing difficulties
- Respiratory distress
- Lethargic diabetic pets
- Excessive hemorrhage
- Hit by car
- Active seizures
Urgent Level 3 Symptom (Non-Emergency but Requires Attention)
- Suspected urinary tract infection or inappropriate urination
- Acute anorexia
- Abscess
- Skin conditions
- Ear infection
- Mild limp
Urgent Level 2 Symptoms (Needs Prompt Care)
- Excessive vomiting (suspected GI tract obstruction)
- Eye irritation
- Restlessness/pain
- Bloody diarrhea
- Anorexia lasting more than 72 hours
- Non-weight bearing limp
- Ataxia or head tilt
Urgent Level 1 (Critical but Non- Emergency)
- Allergic reactions
- Active bleeding
- Seizures
- Bloat (swollen abdomen)
- Cat not urinating
- Broken bone
- Choking
- Eye trauma
- Collapse
- Heat stroke
